Building of historical and cultural value of the thirteenth century with multiple multifunctional units in the historic center of Pistoia
In the heart of the historic center, we offer for rent a complex of great historical and cultural value dating back to the thirteenth century, internally divided into three units with multipurpose use. The prestigious residence is still a special and fascinating place, which around 1700 is used as a recreational club for nobles and intellectuals, a place for recreation and dancing evenings for the upper middle class of Pistoia during the nineteenth century.
The current appearance of the building is the result of a complete restoration with neoclassical taste and is currently composed, on the ground floor, of a shop with a street window with private entrance; on the first and second floor instead we welcome large rooms and stately halls with services and ancillary rooms.
The main hall on the first floor is accessed by an ancient staircase with double marble ramp, it is open and closed by Ionic columns decorated with marble, enriched with stucco, gilding, large mirrors and lights. In the basement instead we find an ancient theater called “Fish Room”, with a plan of stalls and raised stage with decorations on the walls in tempera, ceiling and arcoscenico with fish motifs.
